Coloma, CA

Remember Sutter's Mill from 4th grade California history? (Oh, OK, probably not if you didn't grow up in California.) Well anyway, to refresh everyone's memory, Sutter's Mill is where gold was first discovered in California in 1848. And it is in the town of Coloma, where E. and I were this weekend. And there was lots of fun signage.

Truly, more signs should be like that gold panning sign and include the phrase "REMEMBER: HAVE FUN."

Wouldn't it be nicer to see

Hazardous Cliffs
stay behind railing
and remember: have fun
